a dedication to pregnancy, infants and the building up of healthy families

My passion for pregnancy and childbirth is as old as my earliest memories. The birth of a younger sibling ignited a powerful interest in pregnant women, new babies and growing families. I have turned that interest into an ability to provide sensitive and knowledgeable support before, during and after the birth of your new baby. I see every pregnancy and birth as a miracle and as a trained Doula, I feel honored to be able to contribute my expertise to women and families in the Walla Walla Valley and beyond.

I married my husband David in 1993 and we have 4 amazing children: Manny, Micah, Mason and Maggie. David is a registered nurse and works for the Walla Walla VA. Manny and Micah are college students pursuing nursing and teaching degrees respectively. Mason and Maggie attend local schools and are active in sports and community clubs. Our family is committed to life in the Walla Walla Valley.

I spent the early years of my adult life in my dream job, being a stay-at-home mom and running our home. From 2009-2014 our family provided a home to local children in the foster care system, mostly newborn infants. This was a very rewarding time that led to the adoptions of our youngest 2 children. Most recently I worked in a local child care facility as the Lead Teacher in the Infant Room.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and having a nice glass of white wine, and quiet time with my family. We are active in a local church and other community activities.

I look forward to speaking with you about your unique needs and learning more about your thoughts and concerns regarding the coming birth of your new baby.
