Quality Doula Support​

As a DONA Int'l trained and certified doula, I take pride in offering the most up to date, evidence based information and providing personal doula support. During an in depth, no obligation consultation, you will learn the difference in package options and the importance of doula care. Then you can choose from the following package options:

Option 1 - Joyful Birth Package
$800 investment includes...

~BEFORE LABOR:
LEARNING ABOUT YOUR NEEDS

We will have 1-2 prenatal meetings to iron out details:

  • We'll craft a birth plan wish list

  • Establish your pain medication preferences 

  • Establish labor coping techniques.

During your pregnancy, I am available 24/7 by phone, text or email to discuss ongoing concerns or to debrief after a caregiver appointment.

~DURING LABOR
MEETING YOUR NEEDS

Call me once labor has begun. I will join you at an agreed time and stay with you for the duration of your labor. I will provide specialized techniques including:

  • emotional and physical support

  • massage & relaxation

  • suggestions for positions to facilitate labor

  • guidance with coping skills to manage labor

I will guide you, encourage you and provide your partner and family the care they need until the birth of your baby. After the birth, I will stay an hour or two. I will help with initial breastfeeding and support your new family as you bond.

~AFTER LABOR
SUPPORTING YOU

Congratulations! To wrap-up my support, we will meet as soon as possible after your baby's birth to:

  • debrief on your experience

  • answer any questions regarding infant care 

  • offer support with breastfeeding or other postpartum issues.

  • talk about the timeline of events. I provide a written story of the highlights of your labor.

I will ask a few questions about your recovery, refer necessary services and do an informal assessment of postpartum mood issues.

Option 2 - Prepared Birth Package
$600 investment includes...

~BEFORE LABOR:
HELPING YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR NEEDS

Just like the Joyful package, we will meet once or twice. This will help you:

  • Decide on your birth preferences

  • Establish your pain medication goals

  • Consider labor coping techniques.

Until labor begins, I am available 24/7 by phone, text or email to discuss ongoing concerns or to debrief after a caregiver appointment.

~DURING LABOR
BOOSTING YOUR CONFIDENCE

Call me once labor has begun. THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY IN-PERSON SUPPORT. I will spend a few minutes on the phone with you and give you a pep talk, reminding you that you are a powerful creature that was made to give birth!

~AFTER LABOR
CELEBRATING YOU

You did it! My Prepared Childbirth Package includes a Postpartum appointment at your convenience. Just like my Joyful Package, we will meet to:

  • debrief on your experience

  • answer any questions regarding infant care 

  • offer support with breastfeeding or other postpartum issues.

  • talk about the timeline of events. 

I will ask a few questions about your recovery, refer necessary services and do an informal assessment of postpartum mood issues.
